Google Adsense Removed

AdSense is an advertising program created by google. Website owners can sign up for the program and earn extra cash by displaying video, text and images to their website visitors. The program pays on a “per click” basis.

There are many spin-offs of the program that offer similar or exact methods of revenue earning possibilities. These include Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN), Adbrite, Value Click Media, Doubleclick, Chitika, MSN, and there are many, many more.

Many website owners claim to make hundreds of dollars per day from the programs. Some use it to supplement the revenue from already successful websites business and others depend on it for their entire income. I however have not had this great success.

Some months I might earn $30 or $40 combined from all my websites. For this reason I am going to remove the google AdSense advertisements from this website. Not only does it distract from the attention of some of the articles, but I have made almost no revenue on lexchoice from AdSense. I’m not removing AdSense from all my websites just this one.

I’m not giving AdSense a negative review, I’m sure others make thousands of dollars from the program. I, however feel it does not suite lexchoice. I know this article is a little off-topic but advertisements on many websites are what pays the bills so thanks for listening!

Yes, many websites these days are covered in advertisements. I realize it is necessary for some sites to display ads in order to operate but some are so bad that pages won’t even load. I do appreciate you removing the adsense ads even thought the aren’t really that distracting to me. I wish you the best luck with your website/blog.
